Langtry Country House Bed & Breakfast – Somerset On the edge of Exmoor

My name is Susan and I would like to welcome you to my beautiful home.  I have worked in the catering industry most of my life but my ultimate dream was to run a B&B.  I trained as a Cordon Bleu Chef at the Tante Marie School of Cookery in 1977.  I ran a small country hotel in the New Forest for many years and more recently ran a household on a country estate.  So, here is my dream!

Langtry Country House is situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park with stunning views of the Quantocks.  The beautiful Edwardian house is set in its own grounds of 4 acres in the delightful Abbey village of Washford and has been refurbished to a very high standard but in keeping with its era.

Easy access from London, the South East and Midlands makes Langtry the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, romantic weekend break or, for the more energetic, there are opportunities for walking, horseback riding, golf, cycling, sea fishing, fly fishing and tennis.
